Description

Easy no-bake chocolate bars with a fudgy texture and nutty crunch.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup chocolate cookie crumbs
  • 3/4 cup chopped walnuts
  • 12 walnut halves, for topping

Instructions

  1. Line an 8-inch square pan or small tray with parchment paper.
  2. Add the chocolate chips, butter, and sweetened condensed milk to a saucepan over low heat. Stir until fully melted and smooth.
  3. Remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract and salt.
  4. Add the cocoa powder and chocolate cookie crumbs. Mix until thick and glossy.
  5. Fold in the chopped walnuts.
  6. Press the mixture evenly into the prepared pan.
  7. Top with walnut halves and gently press them into the surface.
  8. Chill for 2 hours, or until firm.
  9. Slice into squares and serve cold or at cool room temperature.

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
  • For a smoother texture, grind walnuts finely.
