Ingredients

- 4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- Pinch of salt
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon hot fudge sauce or melted chocolate, for the center
- Powdered sugar, for topping
Instructions
- In a microwave-safe mug, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Add the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Stir until smooth and no dry spots remain.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Spoon the hot fudge sauce or melted chocolate into the center of the batter. Do not stir.
- Microwave for 60 to 75 seconds, just until the top is set but the center is still soft.
- Let it rest for 1 minute.
- Top with extra melted chocolate and a dusting of powdered sugar before serving warm.

- For a richer taste, use dark chocolate chips.
