Hearty beef and onion gravy noodles with tender beef strips in rich, savory gravy over egg noodles.
Ingredients

- 1 lb beef sirloin or chuck steak, cut into bite-size strips
- 12 oz wide egg noodles
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 large yellow onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt, or to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley, optional
- Red pepper flakes, optional for garnish
Instructions
- Cook egg noodles in salted boiling water. Drain and set aside.
- Season beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Sear beef in olive oil for 2–3 minutes per side. Remove from skillet.
- Cook onions in butter until soft. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
- Sprinkle flour over onions. Stir well.
- Add beef broth while stirring to make gravy.
- Mix in Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, and thyme. Simmer for 4–5 minutes.
- Return beef to skillet. Simmer for 3–4 minutes.
- Toss cooked noodles in the gravy.
- Garnish with parsley and red pepper flakes if desired.

- Use fresh garlic for best flavor.
- Cut beef against the grain for tenderness.
- Adjust salt to taste.
