A decadent layered dessert combining chocolate sandwich cookies, cream cheese, vanilla pudding, caramel, peanuts, and turtle candies for a rich and indulgent treat.

- 2 tablespoons salted sweet cream butter, softened
- 36 chocolate sandwich cookies with cream center filling, crushed
- 6 tablespoons salted sweet cream butter, melted and cooled
- 16 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup powdered sugar
- 16 ounces whipped topping, thawed
- 2 cups cold whole milk
- 6.8 ounces instant vanilla pudding mix
- 1 1/2 teaspoons caramel flavoring
- 1 cup chopped dry roasted peanuts, divided
- 2 1/2 cups chopped turtle candies, divided
- chocolate syrup, optional garnish
- caramel sundae syrup, optional garnish
Instructions
- Butter a 9×9-inch baking dish with the softened butter and set it aside.
- Stir the crushed chocolate sandwich cookies with the melted butter, then press the mixture into the bottom and slightly up the sides of the dish. Chill while you make the next layer.
- Beat the cream cheese and vanilla until smooth. Mix in the powdered sugar and 1 cup of whipped topping until creamy, then spread this layer over the crust and return the dish to the fridge.
- In a separate bowl, beat the cold milk, vanilla pudding mix, and caramel flavoring until it starts to thicken. Mix in 1 cup of whipped topping until smooth and fluffy.
- Sprinkle 1/2 cup of the chopped peanuts and 1 cup of the chopped turtle candies over the cream cheese layer. Drizzle with a little chocolate syrup and caramel syrup. Spread the pudding mixture on top, cover, and chill for 2 hours.
- Before serving, spread the remaining whipped topping over the top. Finish with the remaining peanuts, the remaining turtle candies, and extra chocolate and caramel syrup. Slice and serve.
Notes
- Chill each layer before adding the next for best results.
- Adjust caramel and chocolate syrup amounts to taste.
- Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator.
