A quick and easy no-bake dessert featuring fresh strawberries, whipped cream, and meringue.
Ingredients

- 2 cups heavy whipping cream (cold)
- 2–3 tbsp powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 cups fresh strawberries, hulled (some sliced, some left whole)
- 8–10 meringue cookies/nests, broken into bite-size pieces
- 1–2 tbsp lemon juice (optional)
Instructions
- Make the strawberry sauce: Simmer sauce ingredients in a small saucepan for 6–8 minutes, then cool.
- Prep the strawberries: Slice half and toss with lemon juice if using.
- Whip the cream: Beat heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form.
- Fold in most of the meringue pieces and some strawberries.
- Assemble in a serving dish and top with remaining strawberries, meringue, and sauce.
- Serve immediately or chill briefly.

- Best enjoyed fresh for crisp meringue.
- Adjust sugar to taste.
