Description
A quick and flavorful spicy spaghetti with meatballs and bell peppers, perfect for a weeknight dinner.
Ingredients

- 1 lb spaghetti
- 1½ lbs beef meatballs (homemade or store-bought)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 small onion, thinly sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ cup tomato sauce
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp chili sauce or sriracha (adjust to taste)
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Cook spaghetti in salted water according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet or deep pan over medium-high heat.
- Add meatballs and cook until browned on all sides and heated through.
- Add sliced bell peppers and onion, cooking for 3–4 minutes until slightly softened.
- Stir in garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add tomato sauce, soy sauce, ketchup, chili sauce, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
- Toss to coat meatballs and vegetables evenly in the sauce.
- Add cooked spaghetti to the pan and toss until fully coated and well combined.
- Cook for 2–3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
- Serve hot straight from the pan.
Notes
- Adjust the chili sauce or sriracha to your preferred spice level.
- Use homemade meatballs for better flavor control.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
