  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 1/2 cups hot water

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Place butter in baking dish and melt in oven.
  3. Mix flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Stir in milk and vanilla.
  5. Pour batter over melted butter.
  6. Sprinkle topping mix evenly over batter.
  7. Pour hot water over top.
  8. Bake 20-25 minutes.
  9. Cool 5 minutes and serve warm.
