Description
Nutella stuffed crepe rolls are a delicious and easy-to-make dessert or brunch option. These sweet crepes are filled with chocolate-hazelnut spread and drizzled with more Nutella for an extra chocolatey touch.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 Tbsp granulated sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 2 large eggs
- 2 Tbsp unsalted butter, melted (plus more for the pan)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup Nutella (or other chocolate-hazelnut spread), plus more to drizzle
- Optional: powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Make the batter: In a blender (or bowl), combine flour, sugar, and salt. Add milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla. Blend/whisk until smooth. Let rest 10 minutes (helps the crepes stay tender).
- Cook the crepes: Heat a nonstick skillet (8–10 inches) over medium heat and lightly butter it. Pour about 1/4 cup batter into the pan and swirl to coat thinly. Cook 45–60 seconds until the edges look set and the bottom is lightly golden. Flip and cook 20–30 seconds more. Repeat with remaining batter.
- Fill: Spread 1–2 Tbsp Nutella over each warm crepe in a thin layer.
- Roll: Roll each crepe up tightly into a cigar shape.
- Finish: Warm a little Nutella (10–15 seconds in the microwave) and drizzle over the crepe rolls. Serve immediately.
Notes
- Letting the batter rest helps the crepes stay tender.
- Use a nonstick skillet for best results.
- Serve immediately for the best texture.
