- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 large eggs
- 3/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup chocolate chips, plus more for topping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F and line a 12-cup muffin pan with paper liners.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In a large bowl, whisk the eggs, Greek yogurt, brown sugar, granulated sugar, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir just until combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Divide the batter evenly among the muffin cups and sprinkle extra chocolate chips on top.
- Bake for 18 to 20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Let the muffins cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool.
Notes

- For extra protein, add a scoop of vanilla protein powder.
