- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 large egg
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1 jar (7 ounces) marshmallow creme
- 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix the yellow cake mix, melted butter, egg, graham cracker crumbs, and salt until a thick crumbly dough forms.
- Press about two-thirds of the mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish to form the crust.
- Spread the marshmallow creme gently over the crust.
- Sprinkle the chocolate chips evenly over the marshmallow layer.
- Drizzle the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract over the top.
- Crumble the remaining cake mixture over the chocolate and marshmallow layers.
- Bake for 28 to 32 minutes, until the top is golden brown and the center is hot and gooey.
- Cool for at least 30 minutes before slicing so the layers can set slightly.
- Cut into bars and serve.
Notes
