- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate chunks or chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper.
- Melt butter and stir in sugar until glossy.
- Add eggs and vanilla, mixing well until smooth.
- Stir in cocoa powder, flour, and salt until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chunks.
- Pour batter into prepared pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 22–26 minutes until set on the edges but fudgy in the center.
- Cool completely before slicing for clean, gooey brownies.
Notes
- For extra gooey brownies, slightly underbake.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
