- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- ½ cup heavy cream
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
- Mashed potatoes (for serving)
- Roasted carrots (for serving)
- Fresh rosemary or parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Season pork chops with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and dried thyme.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear pork chops 4–5 minutes per side until golden. Remove and set aside.
- Reduce heat to medium. Add butter and minced garlic to the skillet and cook until fragrant.
- Sprinkle in flour and whisk to combine.
- Slowly pour in chicken broth, stirring constantly to form a smooth sauce.
- Stir in heavy cream and Dijon mustard. Simmer until thickened.
- Return pork chops to the skillet and spoon sauce over them. Simmer 5–7 minutes until pork is cooked through.
- Serve with mashed potatoes and roasted carrots. Garnish with fresh herbs.

- For best results, use thick-cut pork chops.
- You can substitute chicken broth with vegetable broth if needed.
