- 3 cups cooked shredded chicken (rotisserie works great)
- 3 cups broccoli florets (fresh or frozen, thawed)
- 6 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard (optional, but delicious)
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (divided)
- 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled (divided)
- 2 tbsp chopped green onions (optional, for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- If using fresh broccoli, steam or microwave just until crisp-tender (about 2–3 minutes). If using frozen, thaw and pat dry.
- In a large bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, heavy cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and Dijon (if using) until smooth.
- Stir in shredded chicken, broccoli, 1 1/2 cups cheddar, and 2/3 of the bacon crumbles.
- Spread mixture evenly into the baking dish. Top with remaining 1/2 cup cheddar and the rest of the bacon.
- Bake 25–30 minutes, until hot and bubbly and the cheese is melted.
- Broil 1–2 minutes for extra browning (watch closely). Top with green onions if you like, then serve.
Notes
- Use rotisserie chicken for quick prep.
- Fresh or frozen broccoli both work well.
- Dijon mustard adds extra flavor but is optional.
- Broiling gives a golden top—watch closely to avoid burning.
