Ingredients

  • lbs large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 cups cooked white rice (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Pat shrimp dry and season with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add shrimp in a single layer and cook for 1–2 minutes per side until pink and just cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  4. Reduce heat to medium and add butter to the skillet.
  5. Stir in garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  6. Pour in chicken broth and scrape up any browned bits from the pan.
  7. Stir in heavy cream and simmer for 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened.
  8. Return shrimp to the skillet and gently toss to coat in the creamy sauce.
  9. Cook for 1–2 minutes, then remove from heat.
  10. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve hot over white rice.
