Description

A simple and healthy frozen snack featuring banana slices with nut butter, dipped in chocolate.


Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup nut butter of choice
  • 1/2 cup melted chocolate of choice

Instructions

  1. Slice the bananas into pieces about 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick.
  2. Spread a little nut butter on one banana slice, then top with another slice to make a sandwich.
  3. Place the bites on wax paper on a cookie sheet and freeze until solid, at least 1 hour.
  4. Melt the chocolate in a double boiler.
  5. Dip each frozen banana bite into the melted chocolate, place it back on the wax paper, and freeze for another hour.
  6. Transfer to an airtight container and keep in the freezer for up to 2 weeks.
