Ingredients

- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup heavy cream for ganache
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a bundt pan.
- Melt butter and mix with sugar in a large bowl.
- Add eggs and vanilla, beat until smooth.
- Sift in flour, cocoa, and salt. Stir until combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Pour batter into the pan and bake for 45 minutes.
- Cool cake in pan for 10 minutes, then invert onto a rack.
- Heat cream and pour over chocolate chips to make ganache. Drizzle over cooled cake.
Notes
- Do not overmix the batter to keep the cake tender.
- Let cake cool completely before adding ganache.
- Store covered at room temperature for up to 3 days.
